We are currently seeking _
Landscape Gardeners _
to join our amazing team for the Spring/Summer/Fall 2024 season

Notes:


  • Wage is based on experience.

Responsibilities:


  • Implementing landscape maintenance plans for gardens and outdoor spaces.
  • Planting, pruning, and maintaining trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants.
  • Installing various landscape materials (mulch, rocks, sod/seed, ect).
  • Monitoring and irrigation systems to ensure proper watering.
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify and address pest and disease issues.
  • Maintaining equipment and tools used in horticultural tasks.

Qualifications:


  • Must be able to commute to office and shop near Stevenage & Hawthorne.
  • Class G Licence with a clean drivers abstract.
  • Trailer hauling experience is preferred.
  • Education or proven experience in landscape maintenance and garden care = higher pay.
  • Strong knowledge of plant (weeds, annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees). Species, their growth requirements, and common pests and diseases.
  • Proficiency in operating horticultural equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and sprayers is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50lb.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.

Salary:
$18.00-$27.00 per hour


Expected hours:
per week

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Garden/Landscape design: 1 year (preferred)
Skit Steer: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Class G Licence (preferred)
