Description
We're looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing Surety team


What you'll do here:


  • Support the Surety team in performing various operational tasks, specifically those related to finance, invoice reconciliation and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with various Surety teams across North America to understand the business requirements that drive the development of the design and functional specifications for moderately complex quality technical solutions.
  • Provide technical information and expertise as well as coordination of workflow processes and automation projects.
  • Develop reports to address surety business needs in Power BI and Microsoft Excel
  • Independently work on multiple projects and provide regular updates to management

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Capable of analyzing advanced to complex information
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Clientoriented
  • Must have demonstrated initiative and autonomy
  • Skills for time and priority management
  • Can manage multiple initiatives at the same time
  • Team spirit
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge in Microsoft systems (Power BI, Excel)
  • Knowledge of the surety/insurance industry (asset)
  • Bilingual, French and English (asset)
