Complex Care and Recovery Program

Position Description


The Complex Care and Recovery Program at CAMH is recruiting a full-time, permanent Manager to oversee the Adult Neurodevelopmental Outpatient and Geriatric outpatient departments.

This position reports to the Clinical Director of ANS, Geriatric and Social Support Services.

Priorities in this position include leading significant strategic initiatives to enhance integration and collaboration of the services within the portfolio and across CAMH improving effectiveness and access to care.

The Manager will be responsible for defining performance management objectives and establishing operational performance standards while monitoring daily clinical operations of the services.


The Adult Neurodevelopmental Outpatient and Consultation Services offers interprofessional assessment and treatment to patients who have an intellectual disability with mental health concerns and/or severe challenging behaviours or autism spectrum disorder.

The goal is to support the individual to live in the community during and after treatment.

The Geriatric Outpatient Service provides evidence-based assessment and psychogeriatric consultation for clients over the age of 60 experiencing impairments related to mood, psychotic and memory disorders.

Examples of these conditions include depression, anxiety, schizophrenia and dementia. The goal is to support the individual to live in the community during and after treatment.


The Manager will support the strong academic and research mandate of the ANS Program and CAMH, manage donor/development opportunities in addition to supporting CAMH's vision of extending our reach as a world-class academic centre in mental health and addictions.

This mandate includes a focus on both the educational experience of trainees, and the ongoing professional development of staff.

The Manager will also strive to create a safe and healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements.

This position is currently located at the Queen Street site, but may require work arrangements from other CAMH locations.


Qualifications

This full-time, permanent position is NOT part of any bargaining unit.
