Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, slicing, and dicing
- Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes
- Cook food items according to specified recipes and portion sizes
- Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper cooking techniques are used
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food production
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed
Skills:
- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Salary:
$16.00-$20.00 per hour
