- Managing HSE documents (i.e. data entry, updating tracking spreadsheets and distributing to key parties, SMC entries, taking/distributing minutes, filing, printing/distribution of WHA, etc.)
- Scheduling HSE orientation presentations for new employees and preparing orientation materials and JSA badges for visitors
- Reviewing paperwork and providing feedback on trends (i.e. PSI, tailgate meetings, safe-work procedure, trend analysis, incident investigations)
- Gathering, reviewing, and analyzing safety-related statistics, site-specific trends, incidents, and report findings
- Distributing final reports to HSE team and district office
- Assisting with interpretation, communication, and reinforcement of project-specific safety standards to workforce employees
- Adhering to PCL and provincial legislative requirements
- Additional support and duties, as required.
- Must be willing to work in a remote location in Sparwood, BC.
- Must be proficient on the computer and have intermediate skills in MS software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Flexible, enthusiastic and energetic.
- Able to work with a diverse workforce and interact professionally with all levels of the organization.
- Able to work with limited supervision in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and undertake new challenges.
- Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
