Machine Setup Technician

Position

No experience necessary
- on the job training is provided. We require a full-time
Machine Setup Technician who is responsible for changing molds, processing bottle parameters and making repairs and general maintenance of auxiliary equipment.

Responsibilities:

Set up and process machines
Maintain machinery
Monitor and repair support equipment
Clean up oil and other hazards and contaminants
Assist in making quality products
Three shift rotations: 8 am to 4 pm, 4pm to midnight, midnight to 8am

Skills and attributes

Good knowledge of tools and strong mechanical abilities
MUST be able to work in a warm environment
Physically fit (able lift 60 pounds and work in tight areas.)
Selfmotivated and able to work independently or as a team
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Ability to prioritize your tasks
Forklift certificate training provided
Level 1 First Aid provided
Excellent communication skills
Grade 12 or GED
Experience in manufacturing would be an asset.
