Position Summary

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all daily kitchen operations, both through preparatory periods and service
  • Responsible for ensuring that all culinary efforts are of the highest possible quality and responding to feedback as required
  • Responsible for meeting food and labour cost targets as set out by Management
  • Responsible for all food and small wares purchasing, monthly inventory and daily/weekly reporting
  • Provide ongoing instruction and mentorship to team members
  • Collaborate with other departments to build experiences that reflect Redstone Winery as a whole

Position Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years progressive cooking and managerial experience
  • Strong understanding of food and labour cost controls
  • Open to learning, coaching and career growth
  • Red Seal certification an asset
  • A strong foundation in communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
