Position Summary
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for all daily kitchen operations, both through preparatory periods and service
- Responsible for ensuring that all culinary efforts are of the highest possible quality and responding to feedback as required
- Responsible for meeting food and labour cost targets as set out by Management
- Responsible for all food and small wares purchasing, monthly inventory and daily/weekly reporting
- Provide ongoing instruction and mentorship to team members
- Collaborate with other departments to build experiences that reflect Redstone Winery as a whole
Position Requirements
- Minimum 10 years progressive cooking and managerial experience
- Strong understanding of food and labour cost controls
- Open to learning, coaching and career growth
- Red Seal certification an asset
- A strong foundation in communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
