DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- TAX Admin
- Personal & Corporate_
- Prepare and organize working paper files for tax return preparation
- Assemble Canadian Personal and Corporate Tax Returns and US Personal Tax Returns electronically & paper
- Prepare documents for delivery to the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) on a daily basis
- Assist in creating client authorization lists and distributing/releasing the appropriate Tax Data Organizers (annually)
- May be asked to contact government agencies to request for extensions, verify information and request payment adjustments/allocations as necessary
- Organize, scan and upload source documents into the document management system
- Scan bookkeeping source documents, when required
- Track and keep records of returned, as well as, inhouse source documents
- Trowbridge Client Support (TCS Admin)_
- Assist in monitoring specific client support outlook account, in the absence of the Client Support Lead
- Set up tasks and projects for clients
- Respond to client questions or direct tax related questions from clients to the appropriate Professional staff
- Assist clients with difficulties navigating the Client Portal, such as, uploading/downloading information and/or resetting user password
- General Administration_
- Setup New Clients and tasks into the Firm database and systems
- Maintain and update client database ensuring accurate of client information
- Assists with filing, correspondence, faxing, preparation and distribution of documents and other materials, and photocopying for Professional staff as required
- Responsible for the shipments electronically & paper
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:_
- Bachelors degree or community college diploma, in Business Administration, Project Management or equivalent preferred
- 13 years of experience in customer services in an accounting or professional service Firm preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
- Capacity to work well in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to build rapport with clients
- Adaptability and proactive attitude
- Strong and clear communication skills
- Exceptional customer service
- Familiar with iFirm Tax and Axcess Tax preferred
- Willingness to learn new software packages
WORKING CONDITIONS:_
- May be required to work outside regular hours to meet workload demands and/or deadlines
- Hybrid possibilities at discretion of management, position requires in office attendance.
