Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing


The Agency Associate under Global Agency Administration is accountable for providing specialized agency services as an independent intermediary between borrowers and lenders participating in syndicated credit facilities arranged by Wholesale or Retail Markets.

The role applies solid knowledge of lending products and accepted syndication and loan administration practices in the following regions; Canadian Commercial Banking, Canadian Large Corporate, US Large Corporate or European Large Corporate.

The Associate manages all aspects of administration and monitoring of established credit facilities.


How You'll Succeed- Relationship Building & Communication Skills - In this role you will have the ability to use your superior oral and written communication skills to liaise and build strong relations with external and internal business partners on all activities related to the syndicated credits by reviewing draft credit agreements and providing feedback.

You will be responsible for the ongoing administration of your assigned portfolio to ensure that the borrower and lenders operate within terms and conditions of the credit agreements and related legal documents, including assignments.- Financial & Technical Abilities - You will have experience with various deposit lending and financial products such as (BA, Libor Loans, SWAPS, FEC, LC & LG) and technical abilities with Microsoft Excel (Macros and formulas).- Business Acumen - You will be responsible for managing your credit portfolio in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the credit agreement.
