What do you need to succeed?
- 5+ years of experience in building code compliance and providing input to performancebased Alternative Solutions in a consulting environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in civil or mechanical engineering, architecture, or a related field, or Diploma in Architectural or Fire Protection Engineering Technology.
- Registered as or working towards registration as a Professional Engineer or other professional designation such as BCIN Professional.
- Demonstrated ability to develop performancebased solutions meeting the requirements of the regulations and achieving approvals.
- Strong business acumen, and the ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Proven ability to build relationships and develop networks, including with Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to manage complex situations with multiple stakeholders utilizing conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills
- Proven client service capability along with the experience to effectively manage multiple teams simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fastpaced environment while juggling competing priorities.
