Business Analyst/Data Analyst - Capital Markets (Trade Surveillance/OTC Derivatives) On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Business Analyst/Data Analyst - Capital Markets (Trade Surveillance/OTC Derivatives).

Business Analyst/Data Analyst - Capital Markets (Trade Surveillance/OTC Derivatives) - Job Description
Lead discussions with various stakeholders across different teams (technology, compliance, trade desk, internal controls)
Utilize understanding of the trade order lifecycle and order data (across OTC derivatives and listed products)
Attending meetings to understand scope of the work
Documentation and gather requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
Work with work with both technical and business resources, as well as respective leads with given workstreams
Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide
technical solutions to meet user needs
Manage JIRA tickets
Create and manage data mapping documents, test cases & testing of items developed
Updating knowledge base
Data reconciliation
Create Elastic Search queries to determine data/ETL requirements for the project
Business Analyst/Data Analyst - Capital Markets (Trade Surveillance/OTC Derivatives) - Mandatory Skills
8+ years as a Business Systems Analyst and/or Data Analyst with strong documentation and testing experience
5+ years' experience within Capital Markets
Ideally has experience across various asset classes (OTC derivatives, Fixed income etc.)
Demonstratable experience independently communicating with various stakeholders (e.g. trade desk, vendors, technology teams, etc.)
Candidate must be well-versed in ETL (to determine data/ETL requirements for the project)
Previous Data Modeling experience
Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to be able to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels within the organization
Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction
Self-starter
Strong analytical skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field required

Experience with Elasticsearch - commonly used engine for pulling data
Experience with Python - Scripting, to access and manipulate data
