Description
We are currently recruiting Construction Labourers to join our team. A Construction Labourer works at our construction projects assisting with a wide variety of construction-related tasks. Construction Labourers work under the direction of a Foreman or Site Supervisor.


What you'll be doing:


  • Reporting directly the Site Supervisor or Foreman
  • Assisting staff by preparing for next trade as required.
  • Collect and dispose of debris on the construction site daily.
  • Assist with cleaning and fine grading for concrete pours
  • Set up, maintain and dismantle hoarding, fencing, safety rails and signage
  • Handle tarps during winter operations
  • Set up and maintain winter heating equipment
  • Operating various equipment, machinery and tools efficiently and safely to complete scope of work
  • Following company policies and procedures, OHSA regulations and safety policies
  • Other duties as assigned by the Foreman or Site Supervisor

Requirements:


  • Previous construction experience preferred
  • Rough carpentry experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret trade drawings an asset
  • Concrete pouring and finishing experience an asset
  • Ability to safely lift 50lbs on occasion
