Our partner, Grupo Vidanta, the leading developer and operator of world-class vacation destinations, luxury resort hotel brands, golf courses, theme parks, and spectacular entertainment centers in Mexico and Latin America, is currently offering career opportunities in Nuevo Nayarit-Vallarta for its second Cirque du Soleil resident show to include a dining experience as part of the performance.
YOUR MISSION
As Administrative Coordinator and Project Development Support, you will be primarily called upon to perform administrative tasks in support of the Vice-President and General Manager of the Events and Experiences Division.
More specifically, you will:
- Support the management team in their daily administrative tasks (diary management and appointment scheduling, documentation management, etc.);
- Act as a resource person for all incoming requests and forward them to the appropriate people;
- Prepare and write customer presentations and sales tools to support business development objectives;
- Research and compile information (competition, potential customer information, worldwide events, conferences, etc.);
- Prepare and track expense accounts;
- Organize travel, purchase and follow up on airline tickets and hotel reservations;
- Liaise with I.T. department for computer equipment and systems, and ensure followup;
- Organize meetings and committees, prepare agendas, take notes during meetings and draft minutes, and prepare followups with customers and prospects;
- Work independently to perform complex and diversified advanced administrative and presentation tasks;
- Layout, write and prepare presentations to committees and management;
- Update various performance tracking and CRM files;
- Assist in all other administrative functions.
YOUR UNIQUE EXPERTISE
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar field;
- DEC in administration an asset;
- Flexibility and organizational skills;
- Availability, punctuality and ability to work as part of a team;
- Ability to manage priorities, initiative, discretion, autonomy, organizational skills and diplomacy;
- Excellent communication skills in French and English.
