System Business Analyst

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Review, analyze and propose changes to existing systems and processes to increase business effectiveness.
  • Eliciting requirements using effective, visual techniques and find innovative ways to solve problems.
  • Independently resolve complex, multifaceted problems to meet the business needs.
  • Manage multiple small projects and/or lead specific sections of large projects to implement solutions to business problems.
  • Challenge the status quo to design solutions that drive efficient processes across all teams.
  • Act as liaison between end user and programmer, with focus on appropriately interoperating the users needs and requirements, in order to effectively communicate them to the programming team.
  • Effectively manage, plan and execute activities with generally defined goals.

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels in the organizationOwners, managers, staff and customers.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft suite(MS Word/Power Point/ Excel/Publisher/One Note/SharePoint/Cloud Services).
  • Knowledge of IT project management ( IT change management standards /IT process management standards).
  • Knowledge of technical writing of requirement and specifications documentation
  • Ability to create enduser documentation.
  • Strong system and impact analysis skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Superior organizational skills, time/workload management, risk identification and mitigation capabilities.
  • Selfdirecting, able to work with minimum supervision and balance/manage multiple concurrent competing activities.
  • Sense of curiosity and thirst for knowledge to understand how systems and processes work with the objective to improve them.
  • Bilingualism an asset.
