Attention skilled Pipefitters

FLINT is seeking talented and safety-oriented Pipefitters to support our team for an upcoming Project


Located in Conklin, AB, this project kicks off on April 8th, 2024, and will continue until May 30th, 2024, offering a convenient 24 days on / 4 days off work schedule. With perks including benefits after 300 hours worked, 12-hour shifts with daily overtime and camp arrangements provided, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute your skills to our team's success.

What would you be doing?

  • Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
  • Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation.
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble, and install metal, plastic, and fibreglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position.
  • Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
  • Maintain and repair piping systems.

Does this sound like you?

  • Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitter ticket/certification.
  • Valid Safety Tickets: CSTS20, WHMIS, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid and AWP (Aerial Work Platform) tickets.
  • Experience with hydro testing an asset.
  • Enjoy a varied workload.
  • Must have your own reliable transportation.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.

  • This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing._
