FLINT is seeking talented and safety-oriented Pipefitters to support our team for an upcoming Project

Located in Conklin, AB, this project kicks off on April 8th, 2024, and will continue until May 30th, 2024, offering a convenient 24 days on / 4 days off work schedule. 24 days in / 4 days out work schedule, 12 hrs/day

What would you be doing?

Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation.
Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble, and install metal, plastic, and fibreglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position.
Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
Maintain and repair piping systems.

Does this sound like you?

Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitter ticket/certification.
Valid Safety Tickets: CSTS20, WHMIS, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid and AWP (Aerial Work Platform) tickets.
Experience with hydro testing an asset.
Enjoy a varied workload.
Must have your own reliable transportation.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing._
