Bring your energy and enthusiasm to the Ontario Honours and Awards Secretariat (OHAS) to support activities related to official ceremonies and special events across the Province.
NOTE:
These three vacancies are 10 month seasonal positions working 36.25 hours per week.

What can I expect to do in this role?: You will:
- Provide clerical services to support the activities of the OHAS
- Respond to routine inquiries regarding program requirements and refer to appropriate area
- Review, enter and maintain nominations into a database system
- Maintain files and records in accordance with established procedures
- Interact with participants at events and ceremonies
- Ensure that deadlines and time frames are met
How do I qualify?:
Office Administration, Equipment and Computer Knowledge and Skills:
- you are proficient with database management to maintain and administer nominations within a database system
- you have knowledge of the operation of office equipment such as photocopier to copy material and transmit information
- you can refer calls to appropriate staff member as well as maintain files and records in accordance with established procedures
Organization, Analytical, Reasoning and Problem Solving Skills:
- you can prioritize your workload to meet deadlines
Communication, Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills:
- you can communicate effectively and provide general information regarding the award program in a clear and concise manner
