Caregiver Requirements:


  • Negative TB test
  • Proof of full covid vaccination
  • Proof of health care certification PSW or nursing license
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal at a high school graduate level
  • Two positive professional references
  • Ability to use an appbased log in and out system
  • Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (within the last six months and updated every 5 years for continued employment)

You deliver on the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist with all activities of daily living including skin care, oral care, hair care, bathing, toileting, dressing, mobility, feeding and recreational activities
  • Provide a premium care approach for the comfort, safety and wellbeing of residents
  • Observe and report on residents' health and living conditions
  • Recognize and report changes in a resident's behaviour/condition
  • Maintain a safe, clean and orderly environment for residents
  • Respect for resident confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Sort and bag soiled clothing and linens, make and change beds
  • Assist in planning and implementing resident plans of care
  • Follow all guidelines for employees and employers as legislated under the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Use safe work practices, reporting unsafe conditions immediately, and attending all relevant inservices regarding occupational health and safety
  • Complete all mandatory education assigned.
