DXP/HSE Integrated is looking for
Confined Space Rescue Technicians to participate in rescue situations and critical tasks.
We are hiring for the Kingston/Loyalist areas

Duties/Responsibilities:

Facilitate rescue in the event of an incident involving personnel who are working in confined spaces
Inspect, inventory and document all equipment at the beginning of each shift
Set up and test communications and alarm systems.
Ensure all gas detection and breathing apparatus equipment is inspected prior to use and passes a function test. Must have the ability to set up and dismantle both breathing air systems and gas detection equipment.
Ability to problem solve and utilize interpersonal skills while maintaining a level of professionalism at all times.
Knowledge of the whereabouts of all safety equipment
Other duties will be assigned as necessary

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a confined space rescue capacity is considered an asset
NFPA certifications are considered an asset
Standard First Aid/CPR
Clean drivers abstract
Above average communication skills
Above average writing skills
