    What are we looking for?


    We seek individuals who:

    • Are self-starters
    • Are inquisitive and curious
    • Are willing to be part of on-call rotation
    • Hold a valid 4th Class Power Engineering certificate
    • Have a minimum of two years of building operating experience as an ABSA certified 4th or 5th class power engineer
    • Have knowledge of building HVAC, plumbing, electrical, building automation systems, and life safety systems
    • Have exceptional communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
    • Can easily adopt new technology and innovative business solutions
    • Are proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
    • Have exposure to Office 365 and Power BI (an asset)

    What will you do?


    Your responsibilities include:

    • Performing daily building operations tasks like maintenance and repairs
    • Monitoring, operating, and maintaining all Steam, Hot Water heating, and pressure equipment as per ABSA regulations
    • Liaising with maintenance staff and subcontractors on-site
    • Troubleshooting HVAC equipment using BMCS
    • Maintaining Water Treatment program through proper testing and treatment
    • Working with preventative maintenance programs
    • Conducting regular building equipment checks/inspections
    • Responding to tenant service requests and emergencies promptly
    • Ensuring site logbooks and administrative records are up to date
    • Providing operational support for security and caretaking services
    • Performing snow removal and grounds work
    • Participating in a rotating on-call schedule with team members
