Assistant Manager, Banquets & Catering
The Role
We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager for Banquets and Catering.
This position is responsible for arranging the completion of events details while maintaining profitable operations with quality products and service levels.
The Assistant Manager is the liaison between the client and our Banquets & Catering team to ensure successful events generating repeat business.
Required Education, Training, Licenses and Certifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Serving It Safe Certificate.
- Food Safe Certification.
- CPR/First Aid (preferred) recognized by Labour and Regulatory Services
- Workplace, Safety and Health.
Required Experience
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in a hospitality, banquet /serving industry.
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in a supervisory/management role, developing, training and taking corrective action with employees.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
