Traffic Control Specialist- Melrose Paving, a mid-size (and growing) asphalt company, located in the heart of Mississauga, is looking for two experienced Traffic Control Specialist to join their team


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for opening, inspecting and closing sites with the appropriate traffic control requirements
  • Meet fencing contractor's and supervise the placement of fencing
  • At times, dispatch tow trucks in order to execute friendly tows, in various sized commercial and retail parking lot sites, not limited to roads etc.
  • Light general cleanup of debris as required
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as required, i.e. delivering tender submissions

Work Conditions:


  • Road/Field work
  • 6 days a week, mainly nights
  • Fastpaced environment with tight deadlines

Experience & Qualifications:


  • Valid G driver's license
  • Clean abstract (personal and CVOR)
  • No criminal record
  • Solid knowledge of Traffic Control (Book 7)
  • Previous experience in construction, preferably asphalt/concrete
  • Must be a team player
