Job summary
We are seeking an experienced professional book indexer to create a high-quality, publication-ready back-of-book index for a nonfiction manuscript.This is our first time commissioning an index, so we are specifically looking for someone who is confident working without a predefined list of topics.
The ideal candidate knows how to analyze the manuscript, identify key concepts, themes, and terms, and structure a clear,
reader-friendly index based on professional standards.
