Key responsibilities:

Support Job Evaluation Specialists:
Completes and authorizes salary calculations for new NFT Academic staff in accordance with the Academic Collective Agreement and College policies.
Assisting Managers with articulating and writing job descriptions for all employee groups.
Maintain JDX system and historical files:
Ensure Job Descriptions are in the JDX system with the most current ratings after being rated.
Ensure that the historical files prior to JDX are maintained and changed as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

Threeyear degree/diploma in Human Resources.
Minimum two (2) years' experience.
Prior knowledge of Job Evaluation and Compensation is an asset.
Proficient user navigating computer software (including MS Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook).

Skills and Attributes:

Excellent problem solving and time management skills; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
Demonstrated communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills at a professional level.
Demonstrated commitment to uphold the College's priorities on diversity and equity.

Interview process may consist of a practical skills component.
