Description
Domus Legis Holdings is looking to hire a full-time receptionist/ administrative assistant to start as soon as possible.
We are a shared floor space located conveniently downtown with easy access to transit; we house multiple law firms specializing in varying fields of law.
Your responsibilities for Domus will include:
- Answering the phone for multiple law firms
- Maintaining and keeping track of office and kitchen supplies stock
- Maintaining a tidy, organized, and sanitized reception area
- Maintaining and organizing both electronic and physical filing systems
- Maintaining a Google Calendar for Boardroom booking purposes
- Greeting clients, informing lawyers that said client(s) have arrived
- Setting up incoming and outgoing couriers as needed
- Distributing incoming mail, courier deliveries, and packages as needed
- Communicating with the bookkeeper regarding Domus Legis invoices, payments, etc.
- Communicating with various different businesses as needed; water, coffee, office supplies deliveries, etc.
- Collecting, stamping, and sending out outgoing mail
- Keeping track of and processing rent cheques on a monthly basis
- Running errands as needed; bank, petty cash supply runs, taking registered mail to the post office, etc.
- Brewing coffee; unloading, loading & starting the dishwasher; wiping down surfaces; cleaning out & wiping down the fridge; etc.
- Fixing or finding solutions to any and all problems that arise throughout the day
Your responsibilities for LeBlanc will include:
- Running errands as needed; bank, petty cash supply runs, registry, etc.
- Maintaining and organizing both electronic and physical filing systems
- Processing records, reports, schedule of special damages receipts/ invoices, and disbursements on client files
- Prepare payment letters for LeBlanc invoices; write payment cheques via PC Law as needed
- Stripping and closing client files
- Preparing legal documents as required
Experience:
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Administrative Assistant/Receptionist or a graduate of an Administrative Assistant program.
Domus Legis Holdings Ltd. is looking to hire a full-time receptionist/ administrative assistant to start as soon as possible.
Salary:
$35,000.00-$40,000.00 per year

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
