DESCRIPTION
The Circuit Layout Designer Class 1 works under mínimal supervision of the Circuit Design Technical Lead. Performs layout and interconnections for very high complexity boards and projects. Considers all existing electromechanical constraints in the environment. Ensures the possible impacts on the overall project.

This position requires a very high level of competence for which the incumbent is called upon to deal with entire projects of all levels of complexity with a very high degree of autonomy.

Participation at the conceptual level of projects requires excellent skills and knowledge of the business.

RESPONSABILITIES:

Manages multiple developments in parallel based on cost and schedule.
Proficient in techniques as well as the development of advanced autorouting strategies.
Participates in project meetings at the conceptual and review level as a representative of the circuit layout group on a specific project.
Participates as a technical advisor in the preliminary design of new products.
Provides support to all circuit layout designers and other users.
Responsible for the followup of the work done on a particular project.
Suggests methods and procedures to facilitate circuit design and assembly.
Supervises and verifies the work of other circuit layout designers.
Participates in the writing and modification of work instructions, related to circuit layout.
Produces and provides information for circuit fabrication and assembly in accordance with work instructions.
Explores and investigates new approaches or technologies and materials related to circuit layout.
Participates in the evaluation of new design tools.
Tracks deadlines and costs.
Performs any other related duties as assigned.
