- Provide technical leadership on the aquatic biology components of our projects within a team environment.
- Manage, plan, and lead aquatic programs.
- Manage tasks and projects according to approved scopes of works and deliver quality reports on schedule.
- Liaise with on-site client representatives and contractors.
- Provide quality and independent reviews for projects.
- Provide an understanding of environmental Best Management Practices and advise clients accordingly.
- Work collaboratively within the Triton corporate culture.
- B.Sc. in biology or related field
- Appropriate professional designation such as R.P.Bio., R.B.Tech, or P.Ag. preferred
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience
- Technical knowledge in fish biology and identification, as well as fish sampling and salvage techniques
- Experience designing, installing, and maintaining instream isolations
- Multi-jurisdictional knowledge of environmental regulations, policies, and permit application processes
- Adept in the operation and maintenance of required field equipment
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative working style
- Superior problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box
- Proficient in the operation of off-highway vehicles
- Valid driver's licence from a Canadian province or territory acceptable for driving alone and with passengers in a work setting
- Experience operating boats, including jet-drive, considered an asset.

COMPENSATION:
The compensation range for this position is $33 to $43 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience.
