Beauty Advisor

Responsibilities

Responsible for achieving sales targets by being resultsoriented.
Possess the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
Has desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
Build loyalty and lasting relationships with the consumer.
Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
Properly setup and prepare for execution.
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
Other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: High school diploma required. Attendance for a minimum of six (6) months at a school for esthetics or cosmetology preferred. Beauty, skincare industry experience preferred.
Possess the aptitude to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
Proficient use of a personal computer and familiarity with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Effective written and oral communication skills (English and/or French, depending on the territory managed).
Outgoing, energetic, articulate
Maintain a professional and appropriately groomed appearance consistent with the requirements of the role.
Specific Retailer Dress code requirements are included in the training documents, where applicable.
Working environment: Retail store environment with some travel required.

Physical Demands:

The associate will be regularly required to stand up to 6-8 hours at a time; walk in store aisles to engage with consumers; use hands and fingers to handle or feel the products; talk and hear to the supervisor' guidelines and consumer inquiries; visual ability to read instructions and perform events.

Working Conditions (environment in which the job is performed): Retail store environment with some travel.
