Technical Product Manager - Commercial Systems to join our growing and ever-changing organization.

Flair's Technical Product Management team is rapidly evolving as we respond to the growing needs of our internal business partners.

We are seeking a detail-oriented team player who will drive operational excellence across all commercial systems. The Technical Product Manager

  • Commercial Systems within the product organization has the potential to grow and work with other product groups across the department with a team of individuals while helping to shape the role.


The Technical Product Manager will plan and leverage resources to drive operational and commercial business decisions that reduce CASM and increase RASM.

The Manager will lead and mentor a team to successfully execute all business goals while supporting and creating policies, goals, and objectives with a focus on the future state.


Technical Product Manager will be required to be highly organized and self-motivated leader who is process and controls oriented, customer-focused, and can coalesce a cross-functional team to improve current systems, partner with the business in solving operational issues, and help implement new and innovative technology that can grow with the company.


Primary Job Functions:

The duties of the
Technical Product Manager - Commercial Systems **include:

  • Provides strategic direction for projects within the business by maintaining a technical product roadmap
  • Allocation of new projects with explanations to project managers
  • Monitor the progress of each project
  • Bridge the gap between internal business groups and initiatives
  • Help drive executive initiatives departmentally and company wide
  • Ensure all IT solutions are integrated and compatible with current systems
  • Review processes and procedures regularly to ensure continuous improvements to meet the changing needs of different business groups
  • Oversee the technical configurations that meet the needs of the business, including but not limited to user roles, delay codes, messaging setup/addition, etc
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time

Safety Duties, Accountabilities, Authorities and Responsibilities:

  • Support the SMS program through participation and reporting
  • Involved in proactive and reactive safety issues
  • Demonstrate knowledge of employee responsibilities regarding safety and actively participate in the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program
  • Initiate the creation and implementation of corrective actions plans because of Event/Hazard Reports, Preventative/Corrective Action Request (PCAR) or audit findings
  • Encourage active participation in the SMS for all personnel

Qualifications and Education Requirements:


  • Postgraduate University degree with a focus in business or technology; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Five (5) years product leadership experience
  • Airline experience not required but an added benefit
  • A demonstrated track record in delivery of complex projects; excellent analytical and problemsolving skills and the ability to find solutions
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, demonstrate team building skills and model a customer focused approach to dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to analyze opportunities & problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively & confidently (both verbal and written)
  • Be highly curious and driven to learn and develop
  • Strong influencing and partnership / collaboration skills to drive crossfunctional team
  • Have an excellent ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills working across all levels of the organization, both verbal and written
  • A motivated individual with a high degree of professional and personal flexibility
  • Maintain a high level of operational and technical knowledge necessary to meet the requirements of the role
  • Clear criminal record check and satisfactory employment references
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid Canadian Passport
