ABOUT YOU:


The
Product Owner is the key stakeholder in the agile development process, responsible for the day-to-day execution of the product roadmap.

They collaborate with the product manager to co-develop a roadmap and drive products and features from concept to launch. They work with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Deliver on the product vision
  • Coown and executes product roadmap with the product manager.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
  • Inspire and drive the squad to deliver great products
  • Translate product roadmap features into welldefined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
  • Attend daily scrum meetings, lead sprint planning, and participate in retrospectives.
  • Ensure customer tickets are given appropriate priority and treated in a timely manner.
  • Ensure products are ready for go to market
  • Document all new features to educate internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the production team to understand where improvements are needed to improve the implementation process.
  • Monitor postlaunch product performance to evaluate areas for future investment.
  • Be customercentric and operate with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Perform customer interviews and participate in workshops to understand enduser needs and context of use.
  • Conduct usability studies with endusers on existing product and prototypes to refine design and identify areas for improvement.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent
  • 3+ years product owner experience managing B2B SaaS products
  • Experience with agile or lean software development methodologies
  • Established background in launching software in partnership with engineering teams
  • Experience with managing APIs and integrations
  • Experience with transactional and payment data a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:


  • Excellent written and oral communication, and the ability to communicate complex technical information to various audiences
  • Able to comfortably and effectively present to large groups of stakeholders
  • High degree of proficiency in prototyping and iterative development
  • Experience with one or more development tracking software, such as Jira or Azure DevOps

TRAVEL:


  • Travel occasionally within North America for client meetings, workshops, company events, etc.
