Regional Manager, Children's Educational Services


Location:
Multi sites across Southwestern Ontario***
Start Date:Immediately


Compensation:
$72,000 - $82,000 depending on experience***

In this role, you will:


  • Provide overall leadership to multiple licensed child care and school age locations to support sites in
hiring and recruitment, program design, curriculum implementation and evaluation

  • Ensure the program policies and procedures, as well as the daytoday operation, are in accordance
with the regulations of the Program and The Ministry of Education, Child Care Early Years Act ,
YMCA of Southwestern Ontario, Public Health and Fire Regulations for licensed childcare centres

  • Provide direct coaching and supervision to the Directors in their region
  • Monitor occupancy targets and provide support to Directors to increase/maintain occupancy levels
  • Model and support performance management practices
  • Ensure high level quality in all programs
  • Support staff and families in conflict resolution with positive outcomes
  • Be accountable for the development and implementation of budgets and accurate reforecasting for
- sites in their region
  • Achieve operational goals through financial management of child care and school age budgets
  • Develop appropriate strategic partnerships within the community and actively participate on internal

- and external committees
  • Demonstrate YMCA Core Values
  • Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Caring and Inclusiveness in all daily

- interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with the Regional Manager team in Children's Educational Services***
    Education and Skills Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in a related field of study combined with a minimum of 5 years of related
supervisory experience

  • Experience working as a leader in a multisite organization is an asset
  • Proficient in Office 36
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification or include the date of training scheduled within
- the next three months. Training cost and time is at the expense of the applicant and not reimbursed.
  • Applicants are required to be a minimum of 18 years of age to acquire a current Vulnerable Criminal
  • Reference Check (less than 6 months old)
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
