Requirements:
- Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR certificate
- Proven experience in security supervisor role for at least 1 year
- Minimum of 2 year Security experience, preferably in Distribution Center/Warehouse/gatehouse
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse range of individuals.
- Excellent computer skills, and the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
- Must be physically fit and able to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
- Ability to handle multiple situations and use sound judgment to handle emergency situations
- Must be knowledgeable on various systems including but not limited to CCTV various types, elevators, mechanical alarms, intercom systems, fire and life safety systems, control room system
- Must be able to provide coaching, training, and update site Manager on new trainees progress
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle stressful situations
- Ability to write and compile reports on computer software in a timely manner
- Valid driver's license G/G2
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of security guards, ensuring their compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage the daytoday operations of the site, including access control, visitor management, and vehicle/Trailer monitoring.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all security measures are in place and report any breaches or concerns to the management.
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond to any security incidents or emergencies promptly and appropriately.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to maintain effective communication and coordination of security activities.
- Provide training and guidance to security personnel, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
- Stay updated on security industry trends and best practices, implementing necessary changes to enhance security protocols.
Pay - $19.50
