The Construction division of Northland Properties Corporation is seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Foreman to join our construction team for a high-rise concrete structure project in Winnipeg.

The Concrete Foreman will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of concrete work, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the construction process.

This individual will manage a team of concrete workers, coordinate schedules, and liaise with the suit superintendent and the project manager to meet deadlines and project specifications.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and lead a team of concrete workers, including laborers and equipment operators.
  • Coordinate with project managers to schedule concrete pours and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Oversee the setup and preparation of formwork, reinforcing steel, and other materials required for concrete pours.
  • Monitor concrete placement and finishing to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations at all times.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during concrete placement and work collaboratively to find solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials used, work performed, and daily progress reports.
Support the growth and development of company culture

  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably on highrise construction projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of concrete construction techniques, including formwork, rebar installation, and finishing.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members.
  • Proven track record of prioritizing safety and enforcing safety protocols on construction sites.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
