  • Anticipated Start Date: June 2023
  • Project: Capstone Wind Project
  • Location: Jenner, Alberta
  • Schedule: 21 days on, 7 days off, 10 hour per day
  • Wage: $17$38 per hour as per collective agreement
  • Benefits and RRSP Provided as per collective agreement
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including at heights
  • Have good working knowledge of construction practices and operation of tools to work safely and efficiently following directions from Supervisor
  • Install wind turbine components
  • Follow turbine installation procedures
  • Preparation of the components on the ground
  • Proceed to a visual inspection for damage and ensure safe lifting operations prior to lifting
  • Rig the components with turbine specific rigging devices
  • Clear communication with crane operators
  • Use Taglines to maintain control of the loads
  • Bolt and torque the components sections using hydraulics or pneumatics as per the installation instructions.
  • Operate mobile equipment such as skid steer, manlifts and telehandlers
  • Clean and maintain site

Experience Requirements:

  • CSTS09 or CSTS 20
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Fall Protection
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions, able to interpret drawings, bill of materials and various other specificationCalgary, AB, Edmonton, AB, Lethbridge, AB, Red Deer, AB
