General Responsibilities:


  • Create ID badges for all staff
  • Issue and troubleshoot access requests
  • Perform administrative tasks as assigned
  • Create and maintain cardholder groups
  • Conduct supply audits
  • Perform internal audits as requested to ensure compliance with Security policies and guidelines
  • Attend orientations to facilitate ID badges
  • Maintain key management systems across sites
  • Communication with internal THP stakeholders for highpriority tasks
  • Provide recommendations for overall improvement of the ID badge process
  • Assist Project Manager of Security Systems with troubleshooting ID badging equipment
  • Assist in training new hire security staff on ID badging functions
  • Address and troubleshoot phone and walkin requests
  • Generate reports for compliance purposes
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to staff
  • Other special duties/ projects as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Highschool diploma, postsecondary education preferred
  • Previous administrative experience required
  • Working knowledge of photo ID cameras, printers, and badging system configuration
  • Working experience with Genetec Security Centre preferred
  • Ability to investigate, recommend action, and respond to complaints
  • Ability to work independently, and remain calm under stress
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superior organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Work cooperatively with others in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, concentrate for long periods of time
  • Strong work ethic and high standards of professionalism
  • Flexibility to travel between THP sites
