Plans, assembles and performs engineering development, qualification and certification tests on various aircraft components and systems. Analyzes and evaluates test results to verify that required parameters have been maintained.

This is an onsite role based at the Winnipeg facility.


Primary Responsibilities:

Working within the Certification Engineering team, the flammability test technician is responsible for the following tasks:
Receive flammability test specimens, verify conformity status and place coupons in environmental conditioning chamber.

Conduct flammability testing in accordance with prescribed company procedures and test plans.

Document test results and observations on test data sheets.

Compile test reports, as required.

Maintain test lab, equipment and setup.

Assist with other tests and tasks as required by the Engineering team.


Basic Qualifications:


Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with less than 2 years of relevant experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience within a testing environment is preferred.

Onsite:
Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.


Hybrid:
Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.


Remote:
Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
