Job Overview:
The purpose of the Tenant Services Finance Administrator is to ensure successful tenancies and maintain low vacancy rates through the accurate and timely completion of financial administration.
This position ensures all financial administrative activities, documentation and correspondence are completed with the highest-level of accuracy and are in compliance with appropriate authorities.
Responsibilities:
- Tracks monthly rental arrears, executes repayment plans and monitors vacancy loss.
- Ensures charge backs and refunds are executed and disbursed in a timely manner.
- Oversees the rent process including annual renewals, adjustments, and rent calculations. Ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Maintains strong lines of communication with tenants, ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained.
- Maintains a positive relationship with AHMA including open lines of communication and compliance with process.
- Maintains strong lines of communication with tenants, ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained.
- Performs regular administration and document collection. Inputs data into Arcori (property management system) in a timely manner.
- Works in collaboration with the TRL to execute the eviction and arbitration process.
- Attends and participates in regular departmental and organizational meetings.
- Maintains strong working relationships with the Finance Department.
- Executes monthly rent charges in collaboration with finance (batching and EFT upload).
- Ensures that annual rental increases (Affordable) are executed within allotted time frame and in compliance with guidelines.
- Develops systems and process to ensure the TR Department is running efficiently as it relates to finance.
- Develops efficiencies in Arcori. Auditing data and championing change and process.
- Demonstrates behaviour that is consistent with respectful workplace policy and encourages positive team culture.
Qualifications:
- Strong Administrative abilities
- Understanding of financial processes
- Data Processing
- Detail oriented
- Understanding of housing & operating agreements.
- Strong written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 particularly Excel
- Working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act
- Strong technical acumen
- Strong analytical, problemsolving, and time management skills
WORK WEEK
- Monday
- Friday 35 hours per week
- Alternate Flex Friday's
