The Opportunity

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading and driving sophisticated, high impact projects with critical interdependencies across multiple collaborators through all phases.
  • Ensures projects are completed within budget, schedule, and quality targets while meeting strategic objectives
  • Ensures compliance and maintains Corporate Development Policy and Standards
  • Reporting on execution process; driving the team to achieve delivery goals timely, onbudget and delivering value
  • Identifies resource needs for the project and establishes roles, expectations, and goals with team members
  • Establish a governance cadence with collaborators and report on the project's performance against KPIs
  • Advise and handle internal and external teams from multiple locations
  • Works with collaborators to define and handle the scope, strategy, requirements and implementation of projects
  • Provides effective and regular communication within the team, collaborators, sponsors/SteerCos and management
  • Ensures compliance with contract terms for project consultants and vendors
  • Manages process to develop and sign Non-Disclosure Agreements, internal Confidentiality Agreements and associated access to Virtual Data Rooms
  • Identifies, analyzes, mitigates, documents, and controls project issues and risks that impact project delivery and advance to management
  • May handle some technical components of a project

What we are looking for

  • At least 5 years of related working experience in project management, process improvement and change management
  • Recognized Project Management qualification (e.g. PMP) is desirable
  • Strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong business knowledge and ability to effectively suggest options to leadership based on current project obstacles and objectives
  • Progressive leadership role in managing project teams
  • Sense of urgency, attention to details, meticulous & able to multitask
  • Strong sense of ownership, committed, able to work independently and reliable
  • Good team player, resourceful and strong interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal and written communication, able to effectively articulate vision, possibilities, and outcomes
  • Possess a positive attitude, ability to organize, plan and meet deadlines
  • Analytical, critical thinking and creative with ability to think outofthebox
  • Customer focus, and excellent problemsolving skills
  • Good understanding of the financial services industry including the regulatory requirements and development

Salary range is expected to be between
$82,500.00 CAD - $148,500.00 CAD
