Ogilvie Mtn. Holdings is a pipeline construction and maintenance contractor based out of Hope, BC.

We specialize in pipeline maintenance involving integrity digs, cut-outs, and construction related activities including valve installs, piping upgrades, hydrotesting and varies activities related to operation and upgrades to pipeline infrastructure.

This position is to be based out of Hope, BC, working on Natural Gas/Oil pipeline work around BC.

Duties in scope will range and include most aspects of coordinating and Project Management assistance from current state of contract to project completion, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Assisting with project planning, scheduling and production tracking (including forecasts and look-aheads)
  • Interfacing with client inspection team for proactive dialogue/management around cost, schedule, scope, and issue resolution
  • Daily interaction with client onsite inspection and contractor personnel
  • Assisting in project material tracking and ordering
  • Verification and tracking of employee time.
  • Document control and organization
  • Quality audits for document control and submissions
  • Requesting, tracking, and reconciling projects for materials/consumables
  • Safety documentation overview to ensure everything is completed with accuracy and adequacy as well as distributed as contractually required
  • Support project staff with administrative tasks as required.
  • Must be willing to work both in the field and within an office setting.
  • Leading project planning sessions.
  • Coordinating staff and internal resources.
  • Managing project progress and adapting work as required.
  • Ensuring projects meet deadlines.
  • Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Designing and signing off on contracts.
  • Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
  • Participating in tender process i.e., design, submission, and review.
  • Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff.
  • Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary.
  • Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects.
  • Managing staff and teams.
  • Other duties as requested.

Minimum Education and Qualifications:


  • Minimum 3+ years of assistant project management or project coordinator experience in field

Highly advanced Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel requirement
:


  • Knowledge of scheduling/costing systems (MS Projects/P6)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to interpret needs and express ideas clearly.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
