As a Dental Assistant on our team you will play a vital role in providing quality dental treatment to our patients.

**Our office ratio is 2 assistants to 1 dentist to help make the day less stressful and focus on high quality of care and less stressful for our assistants


Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Take and develop dental xrays
• Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
• Assist with lab tasks, such as pouring impressions and trimming models
• Educate patients on proper oral care techniques

Requirements:

• Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with the Ontario Dental Assisting Association
• Certified with the National Dental Assistant Examining Board (N.D.A.E.B)
• HARP/CPR Certified.
• IPAC certified is an asset but not required.
• WHIMS certified is an asset but not require
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
• Strong written and communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Punctual and reliable
• Knowledge of dental and medical terminology
• Maintain ethical professional behaviour

Pay:
$22.00-$27.00 per hour

Experience:

Dental Assisting: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

• Certified Dental Assistant (required)
