The Universal Group has an exciting opportunity for two
Fleet and Rentals Technicians to join our Fleet and Equipment team.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, Fleet and Equipment, the Fleet and Rentals Technician assists the team and internal clients to drive forward our purpose of providing Peace of Mind to our clients and our employees.

The Role
The role of the
Fleet & Rentals Technician supports the day-to-day operations of the Fleet and Rental department.


Duties, Responsibilities and Deliverables

  • Deliver trucks and equipment to worksites and vendors
  • Wash and clean trucks and equipment
  • Organize equipment within the warehouse/yard
  • Load and unload equipment
  • Maintain and track equipment inventory
  • Perform basic fleet maintenance (e.g. fluids, light bulbs, wiper blades etc.)
  • Perform basic rental equipment maintenance

Skills and Experience

  • Class 5 drivers license
  • Traffic management experience within BC would be an asset
  • Experience performing basic automotive maintenance would be an asset
  • Experience towing light duty trailers
  • Experience with the google workspace suite of products would be an asset
  • Ability to work shift work, including afternoons and weekends required
