Toronto or Winnipeg (Hybrid Work Arrangement)

SkipTheDishes is seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to join our team as the Associate Director of National Partnerships.

In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing key partnerships with National Restaurant Chains, and other strategic entities within the food delivery space.

As the Associate Director of National Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, managing a talented team of Account Managers, expanding our reach, and ensuring the success of SkipTheDishes' partnerships on a National scale.


What's On Your Plate:


National Partnership Strategy:


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive national partnership strategy aligned with SkipTheDishes' business objectives for the brands in your team's portfolio
  • Identify and prioritize potential partners based on market trends, consumer preferences, and industry insights.

Relationship Management:


  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with national restaurant chains and culinary brands.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners, addressing their needs, concerns, and fostering collaborative partnerships.

Negotiation and Contract Management:


  • Lead negotiations with potential partners to establish mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Develop and manage contracts with existing partners, ensuring compliance with established terms and conditions.

Team Management:


  • Lead and inspire a highperforming national partnerships team.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to ensure individual and collective success.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging creativity and innovation.

Cross-functional Collaboration:


  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of national partnerships.
  • Work closely with regional teams to align national strategies with local market dynamics.

Data Analysis and Reporting:


  • Utilize datadriven insights to evaluate partnership performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on partnership metrics, successes, and challenges.

Innovation and Trend Monitoring:


  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and propose strategies to maintain SkipTheDishes' competitive edge.

Recipe for Success:


  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in a clientfacing agency or consultancy role is a plus.
  • Demonstrable skill in crafting datadriven strategies that align with set objectives.
  • Outstanding relationshipbuilding prowess with varied stakeholder groups.
  • Strategic mindset, adept at discovering growth opportunities even in complex scenarios.
  • A collaborative spirit complemented by a proactive, handson approach.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics tools, and the latest trends in customer engagement.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present and justify strategies to stakeholders.
  • Adept at working in fastpaced environments, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
