Job summary
The Ontario Northland Transportation Commission (ONTC) is seeking an Engine Watchman to work in Moosonee. As an Engine Watchman, you will be responsible for washing and cleaning railway equipment, parts, shop facilities, coach exteriors and company vehicles. The position requires a Grade 12 Ontario Secondary School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), previous cleaning/labour experience is considered an asset. You must also have strong technical aptitude and be available for shift work.As the successful candidate will need to pass clearances such as criminal record check,
- Cleaning/washing of coaches locomotives and shop facilities
- May include Material Handling duties prepping procuring obtaining delivering distributing parts equipment or materials
