Skilled/Experienced Hardscape Installer

Job Summary:

Busy landscaping company looking to hire 1-2 skilled hardscape installers.

We are looking for someone who has experience in cutting interlocking stones, is good with measurements, understands how to grade for laying interlock, and can also lay interlock.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up equipment and taking measurements.
• Installing, and grading, interlock
• Operating machines such as bobcats/ skid steers, mini and regular excavators, etc. (Not a requirement, but this is a bonus)
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to use hand tools safely.
• Ability to use common sense in problemsolving.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to work with mínimal supervision while maintaining a positive attitude at all times.
• Ability to lift heavy weights (up to 50lbs+)
• Able to bend, twist, turn, push, pull, and perform other physical duties

**Transportation to job sites is provided, however transportation to the office/meeting points is required.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

Interlock Installing: 1 year (required)

• Concrete: 1 year (preferred)

Hardscape Labour: 1 year (required)
