Position Overview

Are you passionate about providing exceptional dining experiences in an elegant and refined environment? Do you thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Server Assistant at our prestigious fine dining restaurant, Rhythm & Howl.

As a Server Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless service delivery and creating unforgettable moments for our discerning guests.

Salary:
$17-$18/hr + gratuity + quartlerly gratuity


Shifts:
Full-time/Permanent. Weekdays, weekends, days and evenings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supportive Service: Assist servers in providing prompt, attentive, and personalized service to guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
  • Prepare tables with appropriate tableware, linens, and settings before guests arrive, ensuring they are impeccably arranged and clean.
  • Assist in preparing and serving beverages, such as water, coffee, and specialty drinks, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and presentation.
  • Aid in food delivery, ensuring proper timing and coordination with the kitchen staff, and handle guest requests for condiments or additional items promptly.
  • Clear tables efficiently and discreetly, removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils while maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Reset tables promptly for the next seating.
  • Monitor and replenish supplies such as water, bread, butter, and other essentials to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with servers, kitchen staff, and management to relay guest requests, special instructions, or any other relevant information promptly and accurately.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests with a sense of urgency and attentiveness, providing exceptional service at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including polishing glassware, silverware, and other equipment. Assist in general cleaning duties as required.
  • Collaborate with the entire restaurant team to ensure smooth operations and a harmonious work environment, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a highend restaurant or fine dining establishment is preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a warm and engaging personality.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality.
