About the role
At A2X, our Partner Account Management Team is focused on the success of A2X's partners. Our "Partners" are what we call our customers who are accounting and bookkeeping advisors. We partner with them to help them deliver ecommerce accounting expertise to the business clients they serve.


The A2X Partner Team represents the core relationship point to A2X for our partners, who drive significant value for the overall A2X business, including a meaningful portion of our revenue.

The Partner team is also a channel for partners to provide input into the future development of our A2X products and the team manages customer queries, supporting their journey to becoming ecommerce accounting experts.


This role is responsible for supporting our largest and most successful partners as they strive to achieve their goals for their ecommerce practice using A2X's proven and long-standing partner value proposition.


In this role, you will manage existing partner relationships and ensure that each accounting/bookkeeping partner has the opportunity to grow and evolve.

We'll utilize a self-service model of providing education and resources for our partners, as well as ensuring each firm is confident in positioning A2X as a leading tool to automate ecommerce accounting for their new and existing clients.


What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Retain, educate and grow an existing portfolio of high-value A2X accounting partners, leading to the long-term growth of our accountants and bookkeepers' community
  • Be the voice of the partner, providing partner insights to our product, marketing and sales teams. You'll be highlighting key points of innovation and improvements that will enhance the user experience, features and customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively manage important relationships by maintaining consistent contact and conducting regular business reviews for key strategic partners, identifying areas of opportunity and/or concern based on partner feedback and industry trends
  • Work towards revenue targets while maintaining a customercentric mindset
  • Work with fellow Partner Team members to identify and implement improvements to processes, documents and tools to benefit the team and partners.
  • Act as a liaison for our Partners with the A2X organization, which include collaborating with our Marketing, Product or other teams.

Key Required Skills:


  • Demonstrated success in a similar Account Management role
  • Proficiency in cloudbased software tools such as Hubspot and Google's Workspace of office products
  • High level of awareness in the operational activities of an accounting and/or bookkeeping firm
  • An interest in the emerging ecommerce accounting market
  • A natural tendency towards building mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Willingness to initiative and ability to work autonomously
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to create a quick and strong rapport with accountants and bookkeepers
  • Passion and desire to make a difference to the lives of accountants and bookkeepers and their clients.
  • Great teamwork skills with a problemsolving attitude and a high level of curiosity
  • A strong interest in having fun

Nice to haves:


  • Experience with Xero or QuickBooks.
  • Experience with A2X or ecommerce sales channels such as Shopify and Amazon
