Pipelayer, Foreman, Grademan, and Labourer
Responsibilities and Duties
- All applicants are expected to work in a Safe manner at all times on the work sites.
- Be accountable for their actions.
- Work with the site supervisors and other employees with respect and on a team basis.
- Attend work as required and on time.
- Work the hours required based on project requirements.
- Provide own transportation to all work sites.
- Read and interpret plans or diagrams and perform required work
- Accurately complete all work reports and maintenance logs
- Regularly perform inspections of equipment and tools
- Follow equipment maintenance schedule and advise if repair is required;
- Perform other related tasks as required.
- Have an excellent attitude
- Have a strong work ethic
- Have good communication skills
- Be physically fit
- Want to build a career in Civil Construction / Underground Utility Construction
- Take initiative in regards to protecting the environment on all project sites
Qualifications and Skills
Experience with civil construction, pipe works (sanitary, storm, water install) surface works (placement of excavated materials, gravels, topsoil)
Ability to operate heavy equipment in a safe and responsible manner
Possess an understanding of public safety issues
Ability to work in varying weather conditions
Ability to work independently and with little supervision
Must be able to communicate well with co-workers
Ability to work under pressure
Experience
Required:
- Pipelayer minimum 2 years
- Foreman minimum 2 years
- Grademan minimum 2 years
- Labourer minimum 1 years
- Experience in Subdivision Works is an asset

RDM provides industry standard Health and Benefit Plan, medical, dental and vision coverage once a new employee passes a three month mandatory probation period.
Rate of pay is industry standard for all applicants based on their skill level.
