Job Description:


The Manager on the Analysis & Insights team is the senior contact for main clients and will develop client relationships and facilitating the success of the Digital Intelligence project team.

You will be focused on leading a team toward the successful completion of the agreed upon project deliverables, while exceeding client expectations across all of the Cardinal Path service offerings.

You will report into the Director of Analysis and Insights. You will enjoy mentoring consultants, partnering with clients and identifying opportunities for growth.

Duties & Responsibilities:


Client Delivery

  • You will ensure the successful completion of the agreed upon project deliverables within statement of work ("SOW") scope, time and budget with quality while exceeding client expectations across all of the Cardinal Path service offerings.
  • You will manage and foster client relationships by being a strategic advisor to the client using an interest in your client's business and marketing goals, not only the current project.
  • You will conduct regular client communication, expectation setting and management, and providing strategic direction.
  • Identify potential issues and provide solutions to correct any scope/budget deviations.
  • You will act on your client's satisfaction survey results for the portfolio, ensuring quality improvement plans are completed.

Practice Development & Mentorship

  • You will work with the lead, responsible for the Digital Intelligence practice area to develop that practice area by creating and promoting lasting relationships with both clients and our teams.
  • You will work with the members of the DI team, from junior to senior to help them improve their understanding of the DI industry, improve their client communication skills, create professional development plans and better understand how our DI offerings fit into the big picture for our clients.
  • You will work with others to ensure collaboration across domains, to help manage issues, and create overall plans for achieving annual and longterm goals.
  • You will look for ways to improve Cardinal Path's processes.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with our clients by promoting ideas that align with client's business, consumer, and brand goals across all domains within Cardinal Path's offerings.
  • You will conduct and use strategic client planning to identify growth opportunities.
  • You will help develop and deliver proposals and statements of work ("SOW") ensuring scope is clearly defined and costs match what is outlined in the project plan.

Thought Leadership & Knowledge Sharing

  • Author Blog posts.
  • Host webinars and Lunch and Learns (internal).
  • Speak at conferences, contributing to white papers and case studies.
  • Training (both internal and external).

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 2 years of experience required with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Coremetrics and WebTrends.
  • At least 2 years of experience required with data warehousing or data lake platforms such as BigQuery and Amazon AWS, with familiarity with SQL.
  • At least 2 years of experience in advanced digital analysis methodologies, such as the following:
  • Deep clickstream analysis
  • Experimentation and testing
  • Personalization
  • Audience propensity analysis
  • Competitive analysis
  • Other digital measurement technologies
  • Proficiency with enterprise BI tools (ex. Tableau, PowerBI).
  • Expert Excel skills (Pivot tables, conditional formatting, advanced formulas).
  • Familiarity with modelling (regression, classification, unsupervised modelling) and statistical computing language (R or Python).
  • Experience creating strategic measurement plans, technical documentation and supporting full implementation of analytics tools.
  • Experience presenting analysis with insights to clients, utilizing advanced storytelling skills.
  • Exposure to project management skills, business process redesign principles, tools and techniques.
