Flagger (Multiple positions)

Pioneer Construction is looking for hard-working, self-motivated employees with a proven record of safety and reliability to fill the position of Flaggers in the Kenora Area.

The Flagger will require a high level of motivation, professionalism, and independence. This is a full-time seasonal position available with competitive wages and a benefits package.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Control the flow of traffic throughout job sites.
Assist equipment operators, and other skilled Labour when necessary.
Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
Display professionalism toward our company and customers.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures: safety standards operations, maintenance, training, cleanliness standards, etc.
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Must possess a valid G Drivers License
High school diploma or equivalent is considered an asset

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Must be capable of all physical requirements including lifting (up to 50lb), bending, climbing, etc.
Experience in the construction industry is considered an asset.
Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Must be willing to travel to job sites with occasional overnight stays when required.
Seasonal positions available with the opportunity for overtime.
Multiple positions available.
