The Program Manager will play a critical role in the success of Biocript's Acceleration program and will report to the Director and Head of Acceleration.

This individual will work within the five program management performance domains (Strategy Alignment, Governance, Stakeholder Engagement, Benefit Management and Life Cycle Management) to lead the program team in delivering the planned benefits of our multiyear Acceleration roadmap.


How you will make an impact

  • Collaborate with program sponsor, crossfunctional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives;
  • Provide consolidated Acceleration program status, progress reports, communicate variances and gaps in key stakeholder engagements, decision making effectiveness and overall management inefficiencies that may impact program progress or performance;
  • Working with program sponsor(s), ensure they understand their role and responsibilities, help keeping them engaged and on track in spite of the demand on their time in their senior roles;
  • Identify and assess the value and impact of program benefits; monitor the interdependencies between the outputs being delivered by various projects; assign responsibility and accountability for the realization of benefits; and focus acceleration program stakeholders on the outcomes and benefits to be provided by the various activities and projects during the program duration;
  • Identify stakeholders, understand their needs and expectations, develop a stakeholder management plan, align their expectations, and improve overall acceptance of program objectives. Understand and recognize the dynamic human aspect of each program stakeholder expectations and manage accordingly;
  • Assess the change impact of the program across the organization, contribute to change management plans for the program;
  • Contribute to a program communication plan to address stakeholder needs and expectations, provide key messages in a timely fashion and in a format designed specifically for the interested parties;
  • Lead the program team in establishing program direction, identifying interdependencies communicating program requirements, tracking progress, making decisions, identifying and mitigating risks and resolving conflicts and issues;
  • Work with project managers and often with functional managers to gain support, resolve conflict and direct individual program team members by providing a specific work instructions;
  • Employ strategic visioning and planning to align program goals and benefits with the longterm goals of the organization, then structure plans to execute individual projects;
  • Ensure alignment of the individual project plans with the program goals and benefits;
  • Collaborate and manage relationship with all vendor partners in the delivery of program; ensuring a cohesive "Oneteam" mindset prevails throughout the Acceleration program life cycle.

What you'll bring to our team

  • 7 to 10 years experience managing business transformation programs;
  • Bachelors degree in science, engineering, business, technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Certification and/or training in project and program management is required. PMP and/or PgMP certification are considered strong assets.

  • Conflict resolution, negotiation, problem solving skills combined with reality testing, flexibility, stress tolerance, prioritization;
  • Team development, trust, motivation, knowledge/skill gap remediation, team situational leadership, coaching & mentoring.
