Role Overview
We are looking for a Human Resource Coordinator to join our team who will aid with and facilitate the human resources processes in our organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the department managers to identify immediate and future hiring needs of the company
- Partner with staffing agencies as needed and ensure positions are filled on time. Ensure contracts are valid and handle vendor management responsibilities
- Conduct reference checks for valid positions and maintain records
- Organize new employee orientation and conduct HR onboarding training sessions
- Maintain uptodate employment records and ensure employee changes are captured in HRIS System (ADP WorkForce Now)
- Assist with employee relations and clarify HR policy related questions in accordance with Wedlock Paper Converters Ltd standard policies
- Ensure all policies and procedures are compliant with provincial & federal regulations. Should have updated knowledge on ESA and OHSA and update policies when necessary
- Submit timely payroll inputs for seamless payroll processing of employee wages
- Provide timely updates to the leadership team
- Assist with conducting training sessions based on needs of the organization
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
- BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plus
- 3 5 years experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
- Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems especially ADP Workforce Now is a plus
- Familiarity with social media recruiting
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality & integrity
- Good organizational and time management skills
Salary:
$50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
